In 2013, when Marseille was elected European Capital of Culture, the InterContinental Marseille – Hotel Dieu opened its doors a few steps from the Old Port. Not far from there, the MUCEM, the FRAC and the Musée Regards de Provence also inaugurated their cultural addresses.
