
IHG Clean Promise : ready to receive you safely

As the world adjusts to new standards and travel expectations, IHG Hotels & Resorts has established new cleaning protocols, service standards and partnerships.
In collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic, Ecolab and Diversey, the hotel group has launched its “IHG Clean Promise” label, to give confidence to guests and staff alike.
This promise is based on an improvement of the IHG Way of Clean programme, and has been enhanced with Covid-19 protocols to meet the advice of the WHO and local authorities.
In addition to thorough cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants, procedures have evolved in all areas of the hotel, such as :
- Reception: reduced contact at check-in, contactless transactions, protective screens, hand disinfectant dispensers, key disinfection, paperless check-out,
- Room: visible verification of disinfected objects (glassware, remote control…), reduction in the number of frequently touched objects, new laundry protocols,
- Public spaces: additional cleaning of frequently touched surfaces, social distancing, cleaning follow-up tables, good practices in swimming pools, fitness and lounge areas,
- Food & Beverage: new service standards for banquets, room service and catering.
