Perched on the Panier hill, the oldest neighbourhood in Marseille, the InterContinental Marseille – Hotel Dieu is the most grandiose luxury hotel in the Phocaean city.

Housed in the former Hôtel-Dieu, a majestic 18th-century building inaugurated by Napoleon III, it unfolds its monumental staircases, vaulted arcades and wide terraces overlooking the Old Port.

A sumptuous setting for this Historic Monument-listed edifice, which offers an exceptional view of the iconic Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde basilica while also being intimately close to today’s Marseille, in full metamorphosis. Just steps from the famous MuCEM opened in June 2013, it allows guests to reach in just a few minutes on foot the former Docks de la Joliette, the new trendy business, shopping and entertainment district of the rapidly transforming metropolis.

A player and witness of the city’s history for centuries, a gateway to Provence and the Mediterranean Sea, it is the ideal place to fully experience life in Marseille.

See you soon, here, in Provence…
