A haven of serenity in the heart of Marseille
Set back and sheltered from view and from the sun, with water maintained at 28°C, the indoor swimming pool exudes an intimate atmosphere, respectful of Provençal identity and inspired by the traditional basins and lavoirs (communal wash-houses) of Provence. Exclusively accessible to guests staying at the InterContinental Marseille – Hôtel-Dieu, it forms part of the SPA by Clarins & myBlend, the hotel’s 5-star wellness space.
The inspiration for the space comes from the Palais Longchamp, built to celebrate the arrival of water in Marseille in the 19th century. The main wall becomes a water wall — a spectacle in perpetual motion — feeding the pool.
The lighting, diffuse and indirect, plays on both warm and cool tones to reflect the ever-changing luminosity of the city, enhancing the perception of the space. For a complete wellness experience, discover also our fitness centre and the treatments offered by the SPA by Clarins & myBlend.

Opening hours
Open from 8am – 8pm Sunday to Thursday and 8am – 9pm Friday and Saturday.
Access conditions for residents and visitors
For hotel guests only, by appointment, in one-hour slots. Maximum capacity of 20 people at any one time.
Children staying at the hotel (under 16) are welcome from 10am to 6pm. To book your stay and access the pool, browse our rooms and suites.
Please note that children under 5 are not permitted in the pool.

Yes, the pool is exclusively reserved for guests staying at the InterContinental Marseille – Hôtel-Dieu. To enjoy it, book your room or suite. Outside visitors are not permitted access.
