Constantinos Valaes was born in Athens, Greece, in 1957, and studied hagiography and painting with teachers at the School of Fine Arts. His restless artistic spirit led him to continue his training by obtaining a state diploma in goldsmithing and metal sculpture.
A symbol of athletics, culture and the environment, the olive wreath known as ‘kotinos’ represented the highest distinction for a Greek athlete.
The olive trees are waiting for you in the lobby until 13 January!
