Exposition "Monumentale", par Kllemo

Led by artistic director Valérie Davidoff, the exhibition “Monumentale” presents the works of metal artist Kllemo, at the InterContinental Marseille – Hotel Dieu, until April 30, 2025.

This event highlights impressive sculptures, up to 5 meters high, illustrating the exceptional know-how of the artist, who notably contributed to the renovation of the monumental staircases of the hotel in 2013. Accustomed to heritage restoration projects, Kllemo now deploys his passion for artistic metalwork, and thus offers his very first exhibition.

The theme revolves around nature and the animal kingdom, with emblematic pieces such as the sculptures “Giraffe” and “Elephant”, which symbolize values dear to the artist such as elegance, strength and wisdom.

The “Monumentale” exhibition brings together works harmoniously integrated into the exterior and interior spaces of the hotel, offering an immersive and accessible experience, against the backdrop of the Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica.

A spectacular exhibition, free and open to all.

A renowned metalworker, Kllémo is passionate about art history and traditional techniques. His work, combining contemporary creation and the restoration of historic monuments, has allowed him to mark many major French sites, including Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Château d’If.

Each sculpture is accompanied by a QR code to allow you to explore the artist’s universe, discover the history of his works and acquire a unique or limited edition piece.

Let yourself be captivated by this encounter between art and steel, transforming the InterContinental Marseille into a true open-air museum!

Free exhibition open to the public until April 30, 2025
