The Mediterranean Garden, our new convivial place

We’re delighted to introduce you to our new place, full of charm and conviviality!

Located on the terraces below the Hôtel Dieu, the new Mediterranean Garden by InterContinental is an authentic immersion in the local art of living: starting with a game of pétanque, the region’s emblematic sport, played with La Boule Bleue x InterContinental equipment of course, in a warm and sunny atmosphere, accompanied by a Ricard aperitif, partner of this new venue.

The Mediterranean Garden is also home to beehives for the production of homemade honey, aromatic plants used by our chefs, and perches for discreet bird-watching.

This new green setting is the ideal place to enjoy an authentic, typically Marseillais moment.

Access to this haven of conviviality and greenery is reserved for hotel guests (free access, by reservation, à la carte drinks) or for small private groups for family events, with friends or afterwork.

Our resident guests will be able to reserve a time slot for a game of pétanque at the Capian bar. When they arrive, they will be given a set of boules and a drinks menu. They can then leave for the garden with a basket of cold drinks and the boules set.

It’s great to be in the garden!
